The Tidewater Hokie Club completed a raffle in July 2000 for a pair of Virginia Tech Football season tickets and raised $2500. These proceeds were contributed to the Virginia Tech Athletic Fund and to the Marques Hampton Memorial Scholarship, in memory of the Tech football team walk-on from Tallwood High School in Virginia Beach.

Congratulations to Jonathan Pulley who was the winner.
